Book review: Khyber Pass by Catherine Decours

Khyber PassKhyber Pass by Catherine Decours

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A bargain book found in a used bookstore at Boulevard St. Michel, in Paris.

Not so good as expected. The plot takes a long while until it starts to give full attention of the siege of the Khyber Pass.

By the way, it should be pointed out that the word “khyber” in Afghan mens “pass” in English, as mentioned by Lisa Hill. So the title of this book is redundant.

I’ve read much better books on this subject, see my reviews of Beyond All Frontiers by Emma Drummond and Nightrunners of Bengal by John Masters.
